Four-year-old Jackson County Boy Suffers Life Threatening Injuries

On October 16, 2015 at approximately 10:44 a.m., Mississippi Highway Patrol was dispatched to a two vehicle accident on MS 63 just south of the George- Jackson County line. A Hyundai Accent, driven by John Phillip Cole, 64 of Lucedale, attempted to make a left turn from a southbound MS 63 crossover onto northbound MS 63. The front of a Dodge Charger driven by Xavier Preston Dickerson, 23 of Mobile, AL, collided with the rear of the Hyundai after it completed its turn. The driver of the Hyundai and his passenger, Patence Cole, 54 of Lucedale, were uninjured. The driver of the Dodge, his front passenger, Tenesha Fielder, 20 of Moss Point, and a 1 year old rear seat passenger, Savannah Fielder of Moss Point, were uninjured. Two other rear seat passengers in the dodge were injured. Jessica Fielder, 36 of Moss Point was transported to Singing River Hospital with moderate injuries. Taylen Fielder, 4 also of Moss Point, was Life Flighted to U.S.A medical center in Mobile, AL with life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
