Former MLB Catcher Barry Lyons breaks down 2017 Fall Classic

Major League Baseball is going to be hard-pressed to top the once in a life time moment that was the Chicago Cubs ending 108 years of waiting in a series that went down to the final out of game seven.
Even though all fall classics weren’t created equal, former New York Mets catcher and Biloxi Shuckers Ambassador Barry Lyons reminds us not to overlook what’s to come between the Dodgers and Astros. “Well, every year there’s something special. Every October there’s side stories that go along with the World Series, and World Series time is a special time for all baseball fans and for sports fans and for this country. People maybe don’t watch baseball all the time during the regular season. I’ve been to Super Bowls, major college games, I’ve been to a lot of sporting events and a lot of concerts and major events all over this country, but there’s nothing that compares to the World Series as far as I’m concerned.”
On Thursday, Barry Lyons will be putting on his Fall Wooden Bat League Showcase games set for 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at MGM Park.
