Former Biloxi resource officer resentenced

Today in Gulfport a re-sentencing hearing for former Chief Resource Officer of Biloxi School District Paul Cannette took place.

Earlier this week, he received a sentence that called for four years in prison and two years on house arrest and he would be required to pay $10,000 in restitution.

Cannette was charged with embezzlement of nearly $170,000. Cannette made over 600 transactions during his three years with the Biloxi School District.
