Football: PRCC vs. MGCCC

Better late than never, JUCO football has a 2020 season in the state of Mississippi and nowhere else.

Works out pretty well for defending national champion Mississippi Gulf Coast who now gets the chance to run it back over the course of a COVID-shortened six-game regular season.

First up is rival Pearl River led by first year Head Man Seth Smith.

Bulldogs coming off a perfect 12-0 season in 2019, including a 25-3 win over the Wildcats on their way to winning their fifth national title in program history.

Space was limited in Poplarville tonight, still at 25 percent fan capacity for college football games in the state of Mississippi per orders from Governor Tate Reeves.

However, high school football is starting to open back up with schools now admitting up to 50 percent despite three Coast teams being in quarantine ahead of week five.
