Fly Llama Brewing held its grand opening in Biloxi

Biloxi residents now have a new place to sit back and unwind in the downtown entertainment area.

Fly Llama Brewing opened its doors for the first time today in the old Biloxi Brewing Building on Bohn Street.

Fly Llama currently has 14 beers and seltzers on tap with more planned in the future.

In addition to the taproom area, the operation includes a 10-barrel brewhouse and full canning line.

Brewmaster David Reese was excited by tonight’s turnout and says a brewery was needed downtown. “Biloxi has so much to offer, and we were missing a brewery, so I really think we’re filling a necessary niche, and happy to be part of the community.”

Fly Llama’s tap room will be open in the evenings on Thursday and Fridays and from noon to 10 on Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
