Florida man fights off bear on his back porch

A Florida man fought off a black bear and managed to save his dogs.

The video was shot by a doorbell camera at a home in Daytona Beach.

It shows the dogs rushing to confront a bear that began to enter what appears to be a screened porch. The man appears to pull one of the small dogs away from the bear, then he shoves a bench in front of the door to block the bear.

The man suffered minor injuries and the dogs were not hurt.

The bear escaped the scene.
