Flood Evacuations In Louisiana

Historic flooding in southern Louisiana has forced thousands of people to flee their homes. Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards says at least 7,000 people have been rescued so far and about 1,000 cars were stuck on interstate 12 for over 24 hours. Local and state police are working with the National Guard to get people to safety. Babies, elders and family pets are being helped into boats and rescue trucks. People in the community are looking out for each other. Rescuing neighbors and comforting them.
