First responder and teacher appreciation

It’s a night of appreciation and gratitude and it’s dedicated to our first responders and teachers along the Gulf Coast.
Elliott Homes and Lynn Meadows Discovery Center are celebrating those who make a difference throughout the community. Tonight they held an appreciation night at the discovery center thanking for making a better quality of life for all along the Gulf Coast.
Owner of Elliot Homes Brandon Elliott tells News 25 tonight’s event is to help raise money for Lynn Meadows and bring awareness to child development. “The vision of Lynn Meadows is to improve childhood development and the vision of Elliott Homes is to improve the quality of life which is one in the same and that’s what the first responders do for a living so we’re happy to help and it was just a great fit.”
All first responders, military, and teachers enjoyed their night with a silent auction and even got the chance to have some fun at the discovery play center and see what it’s like to be a kid again.
