First Lady Recognizes Biloxi Mayor For Veteran Homelessness Efforts
The First Lady is honoring Biloxi Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich this morning.
Gilich and a handful of other mayors will head to the white house for a ceremony honoring their efforts to end homelessness among veterans.
Washington is recognizing the coast’s many efforts in putting programs in place that have the capacity and resources to assist veterans in obtaining and maintaining housing stability.
In 2015, about 250 homeless veterans across the coast were moved into housing and a stable environment.
