First Ever Country and Blues Festival at the Harrison County Fairgrounds

Country and blues fan unite and grab your lawn chair, there is an event this weekend you will not want to miss.
Harrison County Fairgrounds crews were out early this morning preparing the floor for the first ever Harrison County Country and Blues Festival.
Starting at noon tomorrow and until late into the evening, country and blues musicians from around the Coast will grace the stage. Parents can bring the kids. There will be plenty at the fairgrounds to keep them busy as well. Greg Whitfield with the Harrison County Fairgrounds said, “We have a great fireworks show that’s going to happen right after the last act. We have a lot of family fun, a lot of fun activities. We have pony rides and a great pageant that’s going to be out here as well. We have over 30 kids signed up for the pageant and we have cash prizes that we’re going to give away. It’s going to be a great day of fun.”
Pre-sale tickets to the festival are $15. They are $25 at the gate and children under seven are free.
