Fireman’s Day Parade Heats Up City
Streets in Biloxi are heating up this weekend for the annual Fireman’s Day Parade. The parade has flooded downtown Biloxi since 1890 and once rivaled the city’s Mardi Gras Parades. It will feature antique and present day relics from the Biloxi Fire Department. Fire Chief Joe Boney tells News 25 the parade and reception gives citizens a chance to meet the people who save lives on a daily basis. At that level the lineup begins tomorrow at 10am at the corner of Lameuse Street and Highway 90. A reception follows the parade at the fire museum on Howard Avenue.
