Fire Damages Saucier Home

Harrison County fire crews were also called out to a house fire this morning on Crestwick Drive in saucier. When crews arrived to the scene shortly before 9, they saw smoke bellowing out of the house. They were fortunately able to contain the fire to the kitchen but Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan tells News 25 there was still significant damage inside no one was home at the time of the fire and all pets were able to make it out safely. A neighbor in the area saw smoke coming from the house and called 911 quick.

There still no cause of the fire, but officials say early findings point to it being accidental.
