Finishline Performance Karting in Biloxi is expanding the new attraction with three thousand square feet added to the building.
The basic ticket office will now include an arcade and concession stand. Drivers and others waiting in line can enjoy refreshments before getting behind the wheel. The second floor of the building was added to serve as party rooms for children.
Manager of the new track Chase Hadean tells News 25 keeping customers occupied while waiting to drive will be great for business. “Play the arcades while you’re waiting to come out and race. When you’re done racing you can go back inside and go back to playing some arcade games. It also provides the younger children that maybe aren’t able to get on the karts or aren’t able to do the other activities that are going on.”
An opening date for the track could possibly be May 7th. However, this may change depending on construction and weather.
