Feeding first responders and storm victims

As the Florida panhandle continues cleanup from Hurricane Michael, a local group is heading east to help feed those in the hardest hit areas.

Tim Wold will be heading to Port St. Joe, just southeast of Panama City tomorrow morning. The group has been accepting donations ranging from catfish to the ingredients to make gumbo and even dog food. “We cook the jambalaya. We fry a lot of fish and we do a lot of festivals and fishing tournaments so we decided to go down, bring the donated supplies, and actually cook for the first responders and for victims and storm people that are down in the Port St. Joe, Mexico City Beach area,” said Wold.

The group plans to make multiple trips to the Florida panhandle over the next month.
