Fatima International Spring Fest
The weekend festivities didn’t stay at the Coliseum as Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church satisfied appetites with their annual International Spring Fest.
The festival included a variety of food choices from many different cultures like South Africa and Italy. Kids had the opportunity to ride the bumper cars, go through obstacle courses, and ride down slides.
The proceeds from the festival went towards upgrading the playground area at the church. Festival Co-Chair Chris Krohn said, “People love this. We just don’t have American food. We have Hispanic food, Italian. We have pusharatas, which everyone knows about. We have fish and shrimp plates. People love the variety. It’s kind of a one-stop shop.”
The festival also included a silent auction, arts and crafts vendors, a book sale, and plant booths.
