Fatal Car Accident Jackson County

One man is dead and two are injured after an early-morning car crash in Jackson County.

Friends of 23 year-old Jared Scott Lippe were putting up a cross by Palmetto Lane and Hurley Wade Road where he was killed in a single vehicle accident.
Two other passengers were transported to the hospital and are in serious but stable condition.
The accident happened in the wade community of Jackson County, just before 4:30 Sunday morning.
Authorities say Lippe was driving a truck and he and the two passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
Lippe’s friends chose not to speak with is on camera, but tell News 25 anyone is welcome to sign the cross.
