Employee blood drive at Beau Rivage
Hundreds of people lined up outside Las Vegas blood centers to roll up their sleeve and donate blood to the victims of Sunday night’s brutal attack.
In cases of emergencies, blood is desperately needed, but Red Cross officials stress the importance of giving all year long. The Beau Rivage hosted an employee blood drive until three today.
Red Cross officials tell News 25 their partnership with the casino year round helps them stock the shelves so they are ready when the time comes, especially in a large event like Sunday’s attack in Las Vegas.
The next public blood drive will be at the Gruich Community Center in Biloxi on October 16th from 11 to 4. You can find a full list of smaller blood drives and how to sign up to donate on Redcrossblood.org.
