Embezzlement of an automobile

Thirty-eight year-old Lauren Hays of Pascagoula is behind bars facing an embezzlement charge.

Hays was reportedly renting a car from Enterprise through a second party. News 25 was told she refused to return the vehicle for more than a month. Today, she was stopped and arrested by Gulfport police while driving the vehicle.

Biloxi police took her into custody for embezzlement of a vehicle.
