Elijah Moore headlines Ole Miss Pro Day
Back in December, Ole Miss wide receiver Elijah Moore said he’s been dreaming about the NFL since he was six-years-old.
The same probably goes for his former teammates who all put on their Thursday best for the scouts on Pro Day.
Moore headlines a six pack of former Rebels, alongside Kenny Yeboah, Royce Newman, Jack Propst, Luke Logan, and Jalen Julius.
As for Moore, his entire pro day workout was essentially a mic drop, running as low as 4.35 40-yard dash to go along with a four second short shuttle, a ten-foot broad jump, and 36 inch vertical.
In 2020, Moore set the Ole Miss single season record with 86 receptions in just eight games and says he’s now ready to take that level of production to the next level. “Really just all around, routes. I take pride in my routes. I take pride in just how I play. I’m a very hard worker. I feel like whatever team I get drafted to I’m going to be the hardest worker on the team right away. I’m still growing as a person so I don’t want to look at anybody else and be like them or somebody, I want to be my own player. I want to be myself and just stand out in that way. And I’m an extremely hard worker, whatever team gets me is going to get a dog.”
Ole Miss Head Coach Lane Kiffin said, “When you talk about pro mindset here, I hope that we’ve prepared them for this. We have high expectations how they’re going to prepare for every week and treat them like pros.”
Moore says he’s open to playing inside or outside wide receiver at the next level.
