El Agave School Supply Drive

Chips, queso and school supplies, that’s what’s on the menu at El Agave Mexican Restaurant in Gulfport.
The restaurant is asking for donations of paper and pencils as a part of their Supply the 5000 School Supply Drive. If you donate, you will receive a free cheese dip.
All supplies donated will be handed over to the Gulfport School District.
The idea to do the drive came to the owner of El Agave’s daughter, Eva Carranza, during a meal at the restaurant. “We both were like we need to do something for the community. So we both kinda mentioned a school supply drive and it was kinda the easiest thing because you know summer is starting to end and it makes sense to do a back to school drive. We both graduated from Gulfport so helping the Gulfport School District was a priority.”
The drive will last through this Thursday.
