East Central running back commits to South Alabama

A strong student in the classroom and a once-in-a-generation talent on the gridiron, Tony Brown’s lack of division I offers had been baffling after his record-setting career at East Central High School, but this weekend that finally changed.

As a senior, Brown scored 50 total touchdowns and led the Hornets to their first state title championship game in school history. He’s picking the Jaguars over other offers from Mississippi Valley State, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and East Mississippi Community College.
Rising senior linebacker Derick Hall took a trip over to Auburn for a visit.
In the girls basketball sector, standout Dewana Parker has officially signed with PRCC.
