East Biloxi damage in the wake of Hurricane Zeta

The shoreline along Highway 90 looked like a battle zone.

As the sun came up this morning, with plenty of visible signs, Hurricane Zeta had swept through the area overnight.

Wind gusts up to 90 miles an hour were gauged at Keesler Air Force Base late last night.

Workers with The Blind Tiger were assessing the damage at the restaurant and bar just across the street from Harrah’s Gulf Coast in East Biloxi.

Harrah’s sustained some damage, along with Margaritaville Resort and the Golden Nugget, all on casino row.

Power lines dangled over traffic near Oak Street and traffic lights throughout the area are smashed, none are working.

Be reminded that all drivers are to treat these intersections as four way stops.
