Drive-thru immunization fair begins tomorrow in Biloxi

Parents across the Coast will have the opportunity to keep their children’s immunizations up to date starting tomorrow.

Coastal Family Health Center’s Pediatric Clinic, along with Biloxi Excel by Five and the Biloxi School District, are partnering once again for the fifth annual Immunization Fair for school-aged children.

The fair is open for parents and children across the Coast. This year the fair will be held in a drive-thru set up due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Event officials say it is critical for kids just beginning their schooling to be up to date on their vaccines. Dr. Wendy Williams said, “What the goal is is to get the children who are entering pre-K or kindergarten who need those vaccinations as well as our seventh graders who will need their T-Dap before they enter school. So our goal is to get as many people across the Coast immunized as possible.”

The fair begins tomorrow in the Biloxi High School parking lot and runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Additional fair dates will be held at the high school on June 18th, June 23rd, June 24th, and again on July 14th and 16TH.

You must also bring an insurance card, photo ID, and shot record for your child to receive immunizations.
