Drive-By Shooting in Vancleave

Jackson County authorities are looking into a drive-by shooting that may have something to do with an angry Vancleave High School softball parent.
Authorities say shots were fired towards the home of a Vancleave High School softball coach out of a car passing by on Old River Road Sunday morning around 11:30. No one was hurt.
The softball coach told Jackson County deputies the shooter could be an unhappy parent of a former team member.
The vehicle is described as a dark gray four-door car.Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said, “We are investigating this. The investigators are working on it. Patrol has been out there and we’re just taking a look at it just to make sure we figure out what happened and who might be involved. That’s all we have really right now, but we are looking into it.”
