Drew Brees record setting football on display at Pro Football Hall of Fame
That record breaking football is already on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio after being preserved last night by the white gloves of president and CEO David Baker.
He says no human hand will ever touch that ball again in the interest of guarding a legacy. “Steve Gleason blocked a punt and Drew took them all the way to the Super Bowl, and all of a sudden the music was back in New Orleans again. So when you want to ask how valuable is that ball, it’s valuable enough to save a city. It’s valuable enough to give hope to a people who have lost it, and it’s valuable enough to teach a lesson to all of us that we could do the same.”
Also heading to Canton is the number 9 Brees jersey from Monday’s 43-19 win over Washington.
