Drew Brees honors South Mississippi veteran with Super Bowl tickets
Of all people that would have reason to be most upset about the New Orleans No Call, it’s Drew Brees and then everyone else.
Yet somehow, the New Orleans Saints quarterback, whose Super Bowl window is closing and closing quickly, is already taking the high road.
Yesterday, Brees awarded a South Mississippi military veteran with two tickets to Super Bowl 53 between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams.
Brees met Retired Army Sergeant First Class Patrick Gray and his son at the team facility as a special thank you to the lifelong Saints fan and Southern Miss alum.
Gray recently retired after 20 years of service and will be making his trip to Atlanta on behalf of USAA and the United Service organizations.
