Donate to Feed my Sheep

We’re just over a week away from the Thanksgiving holiday. While the holiday is set aside as a time to be thankful for what we have, one local organization is providing for those who have nothing.
Feed my Sheep, a local kitchen in Gulfport, dedicated to feeding those who can’t feed themselves. Since 1983, the organization has opened their doors daily to ensure that nobody goes hungry in the City of Gulfport.
With the holiday season and winter approaching, donations will go a long way towards Feed my Sheep’s mission. Feed my Sheep Executive Director Randy Brownlee said, “Our purpose here is to feed the needy, the homeless, the working poor, or anybody in our town or community that needs a meal. We feed roughly about 600 meals a day, 350 of those are to go meals that we deliver to the handicap or elderly and people in our community. We’re based solely on donations. We have no government support whatsoever. Our community supports us in such a manner that we don’t need any help other than what we get from our community.”
For those interested in donating, Feed my Sheep’s facility is located on 19th Street in downtown Gulfport and their doors are open from 12 to 1 daily when lunch is served.
