Dogs stolen from Lucedale Animal Shelter

Dixie Adoptables at Lucedale Animal Shelter posted on their Facebook page that two suspects cut the locks off of kennels and took a nursing mama dog and two of her puppies and a miniature dachshund.

According to the shelter, the suspects tied ropes around the animals’ necks and drug them out of the shelter. All of these animals were seized, among others, for animal cruelty and neglect in Greene County, MS.

The proper authorities have been notified.
