Disabled vet receives big thank you in Ocean Springs

Today, a veteran in Ocean Springs received a very big thank you when Southern Charm and Mo Brothers Delivery donated a king size mattress and box spring to her home.
Lela Bremen is a disabled veteran who suffers from PTSD and back injuries. She served active duty for nine years in the Army and three years in the National Guard. Now she lives in Ocean Springs with her five-year-old son.
The nonprofit organization, Crusaders for Vets, helped her get the things she needed from local businesses. “I’m very grateful. I’m totally overwhelmed. I wish my son was here. He would probably be jumping all over,” said Bremen.
Mo Deliver Co-CEO Isaac Smith said, “We felt the need to give a small donation to help out someone who gave us much of their time.”
Southern Charm Furniture and Design Owner Rachel Powell said, “It gives us the opportunity to support our disabled veterans and to say thank you the best way we know how to.”|
Isaac Smith with Mo Brothers Delivery also plans on donating a couch, TV trays, a laptop and money to help the veteran get back on her feet.
