Disability Connection Community Resource Fair
It’s a one-stop-shop and what you need to know when looking for organizations that may be able to help you and yours.
Disability Connection will host their Community Resource Fair Wednesday so locals can learn about job opportunities and free or low cost resources.
Major government agencies such as the Department of Health and Mental Health, among others, will be there to assist locals.
Eighty organizations, including nonprofits, attorneys, and medical companies will give out resources to those who show up. Disability Connection Executive Director Janie O’Keefe said, “Somebody in your life is going to be impacted in a way, overnight, and you are going to need to know who to call. So, this is a really great educational opportunity for people to go and learn what our wonderful community has.”
There will be a list of resources and a map so locals can plan ahead to meet and talk with organizations that are a priority to them.
