D’Iberville Students Deliver Supplies

On Thursday, a group of coast high school students had a special delivery for some of their furry friends.

Students in a community service class at D’Iberville high school dropped off boxes of supplies for dogs at the Humane Society Of South Mississippi.

Jars of peanut butter, boxes milk bones, bags of shredded paper for puppies and 200 specially made blankets were all donated to the Humane Society.

The group also donated around 7-hundred to 8-hundred dollars toward a fund to treat dogs with heartworms.

While the students were the driving force behind the donation, they didn’t do it all themselves.
