D’Iberville police issue river warning for residents
D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)- The D’Iberville Police Department is issuing a warning to residents along the Tchoutacabouffa River, Tuxachanie Creek, and other drainage outfalls within the city.
The department says the river is currently at ten feet with a forecast of 15 feet Friday by 1 p.m.
Residents in the area are asked to take measures to secure their property and plan to seek safety if conditions continue to worsen.
The police also want to warn that some roadways may be impassable, drivers are reminded to turn around and do not enter these areas of the road.
