Dez Bryant to sign with Saints

Despite ranking second in the league in points per game, the New Orleans Saints are thin at wide receiver. Likewise, Dez Bryant has been unemployed for more than six months, but that’s all about to change.

The former Dallas Cowboys wideout is expected to sign with the black and gold tomorrow as first reported by the NFL Network.

Bryant worked out with the Saints yesterday and is slated to fill the void left by Ted Ginn Jr. when he was placed on injured reserve last month.

The 30-year-old veteran will be signing a one-year deal for a salary currently unknown after being cut by the Cowboys in April when he was on the books for $12.5 million.

Bryant is a three-time pro-bowler, now four years removed from his last 1,000 yard season.

Other than Michael Thomas, no other Saints wideout has more than 12 receptions this season.
