Delta State Shooting Suspect Commits Suicide

The police manhunt for a Delta State University instructor accused of killing his girlfriend and fellow professor came to an end last night.
Police say 45-year-old Shannon Lamb shot and killed himself last night. It all started early Monday morning, when Lamb called police to report the shooting of his girlfriend, Amy Prentiss, at their home in Gautier.
Police say he then drove to the DSU campus and gunned down fellow professor, Ethan Schmidt.
So far, investigators say that there is no connection between the two victims and police have not released a motive for either shooting.
