Deceased Jackson County inmate identified

The Jackson County inmate found dead early yesterday morning has been identified.

Thirty-eight year-old Cindy Arnold of Moss Point was found unresponsive in her cell around 2 o’clock Monday morning. She was pronounced dead at the jail.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell says an autopsy will be performed on Arnold in Jackson to determine the exact cause of death.

At Sheriff Ezell’s request, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations is conducting the investigation.
