Cruisin’ the Coast citations

Cruisin’ the Coast is just around the corner and the City of D’Iberville is gearing up and asking for local businesses to donate coupons that can be stuffed in Cruisin’ the Coast citations.

These tickets aren’t regular citations. They are just a fun way to have visitors check out local businesses. It is free for anyone to participate. Around 300 citations will be written out during Cruisin’ the Coast that contains a coupon.

This is an opportunity to market your business while many people are visiting the City of D’Iberville. D’Iberville City Manager Clay Jones said, “What we try to do as a city, we try to do a lot of outreach and whether it is with our local citizens here or with people visiting. Our police department is very proactive with their outreach and this is another great example of that. They actually go out, they have fun, spread some cheer, and give these coupons out to people who are visiting the city.”

This year, D’Iberville is dedicating their citations to Walter Keck who passed away last year. Keck was the original person to give out citations during Cruisin’ dressed as Barney Fife.

If you would like to donate coupons you can contact Leslie Robertson at LRobertson@diberville.ms.us.
