Cruisin’ block party at Margaritaville in Biloxi

The cruisers rolled into Margaritaville in Biloxi today where they held their annual block party.

Margaritaville is an official Cruisin’ stop again this year so everyone had plenty to do, including vendors, live music, cool cars, and even an hourly giveaway.

Every hour on the hour, people had a chance to enter to win a three-night hotel stay at a Coastal hotel.

News 25 spoke with several cruisers at the block party, who said they’re a little worried about bad weather shutting Cruisin’ down early, but they’re happy with this year’s attendance. “People are being careful enough and it can go on. It’s grown steadily every year.”

Cruiser Bob Creel said, “It’s about like last year I think. The traffic is bad. Looks like everybody’s just kinda taking it.”

Cruiser Will Daigle said, “I think it’s pretty close. It might be a little bit down this year. The hurricanes may have a big factor of people staying away this year, more than COVID, I think.”

Margaritaville officials say they’re very happy hotel reservations look about the same as they did last year so it’s a nice tourism boost for the city.
