Crime Stoppers eighth annual appreciation breakfast

The Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers treated law enforcement from all over the Gulf Coast to breakfast this morning at the Golden Nugget.

It was an opportunity for officers to be recognized for things they’ve done over the past year. This was the eighth annual breakfast held by Crime Stoppers. Biloxi Police Chief John Miller was the keynote speaker.

Chief Miller thanked Crime Stoppers for not only the delicious meal, but for assisting his team in numerous cases. “I can’t tell you countless cases that I know personally my department has had that we were just dead in the water with no leads. Crime Stoppers would come through with leads for us and ultimately solve those cases. So, I’m glad to be here. I’m glad to say a few words to them today and it’s wonderful.”

Miller tells News 25 Crime Stoppers shows the connection between the community and law enforcement, bridging the gap between both sides.
