CPR Kits Delivered To School
One Harrison County high school now has the tools to turn their students into lifesavers.
This morning, the American Heart Association donated a free “CPR in Schools” training kit to D’Iberville High School.
Each portable and reusable kit comes with ten mannequins and materials allowing teachers to train hundreds of students how to not only do CPR, but how to provide choking relief and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Training students were eager to learn.
The new kit also helps the Harrison County School District to comply with a 2014 Mississippi Law requiring high students to learn CPR before they graduate.
