COVID-19 vaccine drive held today in Moss Point

At the Family Education Center in Moss Point, free COVID vaccines were given to the public.

Moss Point School District partnered with the City of Moss Point, the fire department, and Singing River Health System to provide vaccines for everyone.

About 25 students pre-registered to receive their second dose of the vaccine after receiving their first at the Tigers Back to School Rally three weeks ago. Moss Point School District Communications Director Jaleasa Bolden said, “It’s a follow up to the second dose of our back-to-school rally. So, people who received their first dose at the rally will come to this one to receive their second dose.”

Expecting a constant flow of traffic, Moss Point fire fighters came out to show their support and assist if needed.
