Country Cruisin’ Breakfast in Long Beach
This morning, the Long Beach Yacht Club made sure Cruisers did not start their day on an empty stomach.
The annual Country Cruisin’ Breakfast offered eggs, bacon, grits, and a beautiful view over the harbor. Two Cruisers who enjoyed the meal drove their classic cars to the Coast for the first time all the way from New York and Indiana.
They told News 25 they are glad they made the long trip and have enjoyed the southern hospitality during the week and even though it’s a little hot they are still enjoying the weather. First time Cruiser Reid Strickland said, “The week has been great so far and the people are friendly. It is way different down here, a week and a half ago, we were up on the St. Lawrence taking our boats out of the water because it’s the end of the season up there.”
The Cruisin’ Country Breakfast will also be going on at the Long Beach Yacht Club Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
