Coroner Releases Names of Crash Victims

The identities of the four people killed in a Tupelo plane crash have now been identified.
The Lee County coroner has confirmed Henry L. Jackson, his wife Gwynn Groggle, Dr. Charles Torti and Carrie Torti died in yesterday’s plane crash. All four of these passengers were from Texas.
Authorities say the private plane went down near the Tupelo airport shortly after takeoff. The FAA reports the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the scene.
