Commercial filming at Fishbone Alley

Lights, camera, action! Visit Mississippi and Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast are putting together a commercial in downtown Gulfport.
This afternoon, locals flooded Fishbone Alley to be part of a huge travel promotion for Gulfport as part of a tourism commercial. People will be showcased in an upcoming media blitz that will be seen across the state and beyond. The commercial was also incorporated with ‘well, well, well, it’s Wednesday’ with everyone enjoying food, drinks, and a nice game of cornhole.
Some locals tell News 25 they’ve done a tourism commercial before in Gulfport and wanted to come out again to help promote the state of Mississippi. Gulfport Resident Jeanne Orgera-Young said, “We did it when we first moved down here back in 2011, 2012. There were two events and we did it at that time. It was a lot of fun and we knew it helped out and it was kind of cool seeing her in the commercial. She was in the commercial dancing around so that was kind of cool. I know that this is something good for Gulfport. It’s a neat concept. We love the paintings and she’s into art and we know it’s going to be a positive thing for Gulfport.”
Make sure to be on the lookout for the commercial which is expected to air sometime in September.
