Comeback Coolers went on first local mission

The local nonprofit Comeback Coolers, like the Coast, has had a very active hurricane season.

They’re based out of Ocean Springs and are committed to bringing relief to hurricane survivors in the form of coolers filled with ice cold beer, soft drinks, and snacks.

This year alone, they participated in five missions and provided relief to areas affected by Laura, Sally, and Delta.

This hurricane season alone, they’ve donated over 1,800 coolers.

They even completed their first ever mission in Mississippi this past Saturday, giving coolers to locals rebuilding after Hurricane Zeta. Comeback Coolers Organizer Heather Eason said, “We were really surprised at the amount of damage. It was really nice to help some of the people that have been the driving force behind this organization.”

The hurricane season isn’t over yet and neither is their need for coolers. If you would like to help visit their Facebook page or website.
