College Football Playoff Rankings

The College Football Playoff rankings are all about what have you done for me lately which makes them subject to change week in and week out. So consider this second poll of the season the calm before the storm.
Absolutely no movement in the top four as the SEC claims the top two spots with Georgia and Alabama keeping themselves good company.
Rounding out the field is Notre Dame, whose lone loss came to the Bulldogs, and then the defending national champion Clemson Tigers. Oklahoma and TCU are five and six respectively, on the outside looking in.
Yesterday, former committee member Dr. Tom Osborne, a three time national champion as the head coach at Nebraska, gave News 25 some insight to the selection process during his visit to Gulfport. “The amount of data that is looked at is exponentially greater than we looked at as coaches and writers doing a quick poll, and we’re looking at a lot of film, a lot of data, a lot of statistics. And particularly you look at strength of schedule, cause sometimes you can schedule a lot of wins but maybe the strength of your opposition hasn’t been that good.”
Some great games on tap for this weekend featuring seven head-to-head matchups between top 25 teams.
