Coliseum to play host to minor league hockey games this fall
An organization called Biloxi Hockey announced that the Mississippi Coast Coliseum will be the neutral site for three minor league hockey games this fall.
A press conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. July 14 at the area to discuss specifics.
The announcement released today said the intention of having the games this fall is to bring minor league hockey back to the Coast.
“We know the rich and long history that this great sport has here. We are proud to announce that this coming winter, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum will be hosting three, neutral-site minor league hockey games. This is a first step in bringing pro hockey back to Biloxi,” the organization said in the press release.
“For hockey to return, we need to support these games with everything we have!”
Tickets for the games will go on sale after the July 14 press conference.
