Cold weather shelters open for those in need

Cold weather shelters will be opening around the Coast tonight for those in need.

In Pascagoula and Gulfport, the Salvation Army will be open as a cold weather shelter for those who need a warm, dry place to sleep during this week’s freezing temperatures from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The D’Iberville Civic Center will open as a cold weather shelter tonight at 5 p.m. and again on Wednesday. The D’Iberville Civic Center is located at 10395 Auto Mall Pkwy. in D’Iberville.
