Coast Residents Line Up for New IPhone 6
The new IPhone 6 works hand in hand with the Apple Air Pad. This is just one of the many new features customers like Romelle Page have been waiting for with the launch of apple’s new phone. Page, a new IPhone 6 owner, says, "I’m really excited about the new IPhone. It’s got the icons that are nice and big, so I can see them well. The pixels on the photos are awesome. A big, big difference and a lot lighter weight."
Page works the night shift at a local casino, but she says this phone was worth waking up early for. Page also says, "I got up at 5:30 to be here for 6:30 so I wouldn’t have to wait in a long line. I think we were 12th in line."
About 60 people were waiting in line when the C Spire wireless store on Highway 49 opened its doors Friday morning at 8 a.m. Don Aldearn, a C Spire employee, says, "6 has been real, real popular. 6 Plus has been incredibly popular. We sold out of those probably within the first ten minutes of being open."
While the bigger IPhone 6 Plus sold out almost immediately, it wasn’t long before the 100 IPhone 6s were sold out at this location as well. No worries though, you can still get connected because more phones are on the way. C Spire experts say this cutting edge technology is history in the making.
Aldearn closes, "The phone is really replacing the PC it seems. We’re doing so many functions on our devices now. All the icons are fantastic at doing things like watching movies. They’re fantastic about email and productivity."
New IPhone owners are getting to experience these feature first hand as they leave the store with their new IPhone 6.
