Coast native Rod Stokes advances in “The Voice”
Have you been keeping up with ‘The Voice’ on NBC? If you haven’t you have been missing out!
Moss Point native Rod Stokes has made it to the top 13. Going into the top 13, Rod says he plans to give it his all and work a ton.
He also says being from Southern Mississippi has been a big influence on him and his music.
News 25 had the chance to catch up with Rod today and he wanted to give a big thank you to everyone here on the Coast. “I want to say thank you, thank you so much to everyone on the Coast, the state of Mississippi, I have to share the state of Alabama with Dexter but that’s okay too. I want to say thank you, it is such a blessing and an honor to be a part of this and to have everyone backing and supporting me and I am forever grateful. So, thank you so much to everyone out there who is voting.”
You can catch ‘The Voice’ next Monday at 7 p.m. on NBC. The top 13 will go to the top eight and those results will be announced on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
