Coast Guard cutter caught fire in Gulfport

Early this morning, a Coast Guard cutter caught fire while docked at the Gulfport Small Craft Harbor.
Here’s video recorded this morning from one of our Mississippi Power live on 25 cameras. Two Coast Guard members discovered that the deck of the cutter Brant was on fire around 5 a.m. The Coast Guard says the pair began trying to put the fire out with an on board extinguisher.
The Gulfport Fire Department arrived minutes later and quickly doused the blaze. No injuries were reported and the cause is still under investigation.
